Consider your location. This can affect how formal your dress should look. If you are having your wedding in a park or backyard, you can look a little more dressed up. A long, flowing dress doesn’t look out of place on a well-kept lawn. A strapless dress with long gloves is a popular look for these kinds of settings. However, if you are having your wedding on a beach or in the mountains, you will want to go with a shorter, lighter style. Whatever the location, go light on the jewelry.
