Choose the right attire for any Wedding

The biggest thing for attend a wedding, is you need to concern the appropriate wedding attire. this is the ultimate test of your etiquette knowledge — not just for the bride and groom, but for guests as well .

Black Tie Weddings
If the invitation calls the dress code “Black Tie “ or “formal” , that means the weddings are really formal events. For men, that means a tuxedo. For women, formal wedding attire is an evening gown.
Evening weddings tend to be more formal, but unless the invitation specifies black tie, the dress code is probably at most semi-formal.

Semi-Formal Weddings
“Semi-formal” is between formal and informal, slightly more flexible. Men still be expected to wear tuxes, or dark suit.  For ladies, semi-formal is still going to be a fancy dress, but may be a short cocktail dress instead of a full-length evening gown.

Casual Weddings
Even the dress code is “casual,” you’re still supposed to dress up — but it’s more like what you might wear on a dinner date than what you’d wear to prom.
For ladies, a skirt and nice blouse will do fine, but your favorite non-formal dress would be perfect.

Outdoor Weddings
Guys can wear polo shirts and khakis, while girls will be comfortable in summer sundresses.
Jeans still aren’t appropriate wedding attire, but as long as you clean yourself up a little, jeans still be fine.

If the wedding invitation doesn’t indicate a dress code, you can look for other clues in the information you have, like the location and time of day.
If you’re really not sure, though, call someone in the wedding party and ask — we promise you won’t be the only one! You will know the perfect attire for attend the wedding.
